Hip, hip, hooray! We’re getting married!

Dalton and I met on an online dating app called “Bumble” where we each swiped right. We dated for a few months before becoming officially boyfriend and girlfriend on May 18th, 2018. We have made plenty of memories with moves from coast to coast and making the decision of getting our sweet boy Apollo. We are blessed to be together on this journey we call life!

Dalton and I went with his family to Puerto Rico for a week. We had family pictures planned for Wednesday June 8th. That day, we went to the beach and then had to go on a grocery run before pictures. I was with Christie, Kindle, and Ava. I kept wondering why Christie and Kindle were acting funny. Kindle and Christie were crying at the meat counter (I found this out after the fact!) We got our groceries and then headed home to get ready for our family pictures! Once we got to our picture destination of Cerro Gordo Beach, we hiked up a bike trail to take pictures over a cliff with the ocean breeze. The photographer asked for a few more shots with Dalton and I. I didn’t think anything was weird until he asked Dalton to stand behind me. Then, Dalton turned me around and gave a speech before getting down on one knee and asking…. “Jenna, will you marry me?” I was shocked and so excited. Of course… I SAID YES! It was so magical and more then anything I could have ever dreamed of! The most crazy detail was that both of our families and close friends knew of this plan Dalton had for over a year! We were blessed to be able to share this moment of our lives with his family. The first thing Robert said to me was, “I can talk to you again!” That will always be a fond memory; Robert is not great at keeping secrets. That’s our story! We both cannot wait to see what else life has to offer us on our journey.

Our family of three has now become a family of 5! We welcomed our sweet identical twin girls Jade and Raelyn into our world on June 25, 2024. They are going to be at and a part of the wedding. They are the best blessing to our family and are truly miracles for us.
