We met thanks to a classic missionary world coincidence. Dallin’s roommate had served in the same mission as Paige, and one casual game night brought us together. What started as an easy friendship quickly turned into hanging out almost every day for an entire year. Naturally, everyone around us kept asking if we “liked liked” each other, which we laughed off even though most people already thought we were dating. After being friends for a year, Dallin finally made a move during what Paige will forever describe as the worst movie in the entire world. Somehow, it worked. Our first official date was a complete 180, a fancy gala where we dressed up and did things properly. Not long after that, Paige left town. First Arizona for a month, then Oregon for another. In between trips, Dallin met Paige’s family, which was a bold move and went… memorably. Special shout-out to Trevor for being extra protective and old-fashioned. When Paige finally made it back to Utah, Dallin officially asked her to be his girlfriend. We dated for a year filled with laughter, fun, and a lot of great memories. That Christmas, Dallin flew to Oregon to ask Paige’s dad for permission. One month later, he proposed on a hiking trail in Lindon, Utah. We celebrated the only appropriate way with In-N-Out, Paige’s favorite place ever. Now here we are, best friends, in love, and so excited to start this next chapter together!!
