Dallas’ proposal on October 26, 2024 — a moment we’ll cherish forever.
Sept 26, 2020. We went on one date and never looked back. What started as an easy conversation quickly turned into spending every day together, knowing almost immediately that something special was unfolding. Not long after, I met the other great love of my life—Evelyn—when she was just two years old. What followed wasn’t just a relationship, but the slow, meaningful building of a family. Over the years, love, patience, laughter, and resilience became our foundation. Together, we’ve grown through life’s changes, learned how to support one another fully, and created a family rooted in deep connection and unwavering commitment.
Not long after we started dating, I met Evelyn — she was two years old and already completely running the show. Becoming a family didn’t happen all at once. It happened in small moments: bedtime routines, inside jokes, school mornings, and learning how to show up even when it wasn’t easy. Our home is built on patience, tons of humor, and a lot of love — the kind that grows over time. Evelyn is at the center of it all, keeping us grounded, laughing, and very much on our toes. She will forever be my Girlie Girl! We didn’t become a family by accident. We chose it. And we keep choosing it every day.
Our wedding will take place on sacred, ancient ceremonial land that is now also a peaceful sanctuary. From the moment we arrived, the space felt calm and welcoming, the kind of place that makes you slow down, look around, and feel present. And then there were the peacocks. Peacocks have long symbolized devotion, protection, and new beginnings, and are often seen as guardians of special places. Watching them roam freely around the property felt like a quiet reminder that this sanctuary is exactly where we’re meant to begin our next chapter together. We found this place in the most unexpected way. After reaching out to Miki, she invited us to stay the night simply to experience the land. What followed felt incredibly generous and heartfelt. She welcomed us with such warmth — caring for every detail, feeding us well, and making us feel completely at home. In just one visit, this place became more than a venue. It became a gift. A place of care, beauty, and beginnings. That night, we watched the sun set while Evelyn played hide and seek with us among boulders and old oak trees, peacocks wandering freely around us. It felt peaceful, easy, and right. By the time we left, we knew this wasn’t just a venue. It was a place meant to be shared — with the people we love, in a way that feels like us. This is where we’re getting married. 🦚
