While Dallas and I did not meet in the most exciting of ways, our first date story is certainly one to be told. Come find us at the wedding, or even before, and have us tell it to you in person! It involves "I love yous", Michael Kors watches, bachelorette parties and someone getting way too drunk...Luckily, we decided to give each other a second date despite the first.

Dallas spent countless weeks preparing to propose to Nicole. He decided to propose at the hotel they celebrated Dallas's 26th birthday (their favorite in the city), The Omni William Penn in downtown Pittsburgh. He involved the hotel staff at the restaurant, hired a secret photographer and even prepared a surprise trip for the two after the proposal. He was unable to eat breakfast that morning - which was a little bit of a hint for Nicole - but after they wrapped up at the restaurant he got down on one knee and nervously popped the question. She obviously said "I do" and he then let her in on one more surprise - a trip to Bar Harbor, Maine. She said yes to this too and they flew out that afternoon for a beautiful trip to celebrate their engagement!
