We met at through family and didn't think much of it. Then a bunch of us went to a friend's house for a get together. He had a thing for me from the start and pursued me, but I was in a relationship. Not long after that things in my life changed a lot. We were still in contact by family, and soon became a couple for 6 months. Life happens and things were meant to be at that time. We both moved on but still had some contact by family. Well 12 years later we found ourselves back in each other's lives a lot more due to a stupid action by him again... HAHA. Again, he pursued me as I stilled carried a huge spot in his heart. After some time, everything just clicked, and we were back together before no time. 1yr and 8 months later he did what he promised 14 years ago and put a ring on my finger, and we were engaged and planning our wedding......

On one of our date nights, he surprised me with getting my nails done, dinner and a walk in the park. We also rode the scooters... he's never rode them, so we did before they were removed from the city. After an eventful night of watching the 1st responders look for a body from a car in the river, we walked back to the park where we parked. I went to the van not realizing on the way he stopped to talk to some officers to ask if he can go pop the question inside the park even though it was closed, they said yes and mad e a joke to pretend arrest him or me if I didn't take what was in his hand. He said oh no she's never been in trouble and that will freak her out. So, they let us walk down the path. He had me sit down on one of the rocks and got it out and said I told you and promised you 14 years ago I wanted to marry you and I'd put a ring on your finger... Now today I'd like to make that come true, Will you marry me? I SAID YES, of course and now we are ENGAGED!!! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in SOON!
