Things To Do

Whale Watching with San Juan Cruises

355 Harris Avenue, Bellingham, WA 98225

Our top favorite thing to do when guests come visit Bellingham in the summer. The San Juan islands are known for their rich marine life, and there is no better way to experience it other than a boat. Bring a deck of cards and cooler full of drinks and have a blast! We have seen orca whales many times, and grey whales as well.

Taylor Shellfish Farms

2182 Chuckanut Drive, Bow, WA 98232

Amazing view, you sit feet from the ocean. They farm the oysters here, so it’s hard to get anything fresher than this! We recommend to not come starving, as the plates are small, and $$$. (Kinda hard to get full off oysters anyways) Highly recommend coming here, even if it’s just for a few beers, and a couple oysters to try.

Artist Point

Artist Point, Deming, WA 98244

Multiple hike options, and beautiful views of Mt. Baker and Mt. Shuksan. On the way back, swing by Chair 9 for excellent pizza. 1.5hr drive from Bellingham.

Tide Pools at Larrabee State Park

245 Chuckanut Drive, Bellingham, WA 98229

Wait for low tide, and come check out some critters! Great views, and easy walk down to the water. 15$ for a Discover day pass for entry to the state park.

Boulevard Park

470 Bayview Drive, Bellingham, WA 98225

Waterfront public park, with a beach and long pier to walk along.

Wander Brewing

1807 Dean Avenue, Bellingham, WA 98225

Our favorite beer in town!
