We met a theatre event in 2019, though we knew each other through mutual friends we hadn't spent much time together. The next day we spent the entire afternoon on our first date and almost every day after that, so here we are now!

We planned an anniversary trip to Cincinnati, Ohio to visit the aquarium and celebrate two years together. The day we went to the aquarium Joe had originally planned to propose in front of the Giant Pacific Octopus (Dalia's favorite creature) but the aquarium was both crowded and the octopus was splaying its entire underside for everyone to see. So after a lovely walk back to the hotel, Joe proposed! Little did he know that when Dalia was grabbing a water bottle from his bag earlier that day, she saw the little brown box!
