Best Friend I’ve known Gbolahan since high school, that’s 16 years and counting. We’ve been through highs and lows, basically going through life together and there’s nobody I’d rather do this life thing with, so being your best friend and best man is one of the best things to happen to me and in our next life is there is any, I know we’d find our way to each other other. Dalia’s one of the nicest people I’ve met in my life and she has a gentle soul. Dalia and I met at Western Colorado University (WCU) our freshman year, 2019. I will forever be grateful to her brother who recruited me to WCU. From midnight runs to Love’s gas station, to deep conversations on a swing-set in the park behind Ute, to all of our spur of the moment adventures, I have gotten to know and love my amazing amiga, Dalia. Dalia and I met in college in a club called Amigos, slowly throughout our first few semesters at Western, the two of us and a few other girls became very close. Dalia was quiet at first, but once she opened up and found her people, I realized she was (and still is) one of the most genuine and caring individuals I have ever met. We were always going on random little tips all over Colorado, including impromptu trips to Cedaredge to watch her brother play football or planned weekends to Denver. It was always an adventure, and we knew it would be when Dalia was there. She is the epitome of “life of the party,” and I could not feel more honored to be a part of her (and Nate’s) special day.
