We’re getting married!

All because two people swiped right! We first connected on the dating app Bumble. It turned out that we lived just 1 mile away from each other! We spent days FaceTiming and texting, and finally met in person after Lindsey returned from a trip to Michigan for the 4th of July. The night Lindsey’s flight got in, Steven came over for a walk around the neighborhood after the kids had gone to bed. It only took a few weeks before Lindsey knew she wanted Remi and Wes to meet Steven. After that, they were inseparable.

On the anniversary of when we first started talking, Steven planned a family dinner in Gilbert. After dinner, the family went over to get ice cream and then the kids started taking pictures in the old school photo booth in the hall. Steven suggested that we hop in to take some. Once the camera started shooting, he pulled out a ring with a huge grin! When we stepped out of the photo booth, Remi and Wes were holding signs that said “Mom, Say Yes!”
