Dale's and Pamela's love story began with a simple "Hello po" in early 2022. They were 6,436 km apart, Dale located in a small town in the province of Pangasinan, Philippines and Pamela living in the big city of Sydney, Australia. They were living two separate and different lives until they were introduced by Dale's cousin (who also happens to be Pamela's church Kuya) to each other. A few messages after that initial "Hello po," they could not be kept off their phones - messaging each other day and night. Fast-forward to the end of 2022, Pamela went on a long holiday in the Philippines and they met for the first time. She spent a week in his town, seeing where he grew up and meeting his family and his friends. Dale then went to Manila and also spent time with Pamela and her family, getting to know and spending time with them. At the end of Pamela's holiday, they both had to go back to their different lives and be in a LDR again. This LDR was, however, short-lived as Dale made a decision to move to Sydney in June of 2023. Since then, a lot has happened. They spent a lot of time together and truly got to know the good, the bad, the best and the worst sides of each other. Now, they are excited to begin this new chapter in their lives together as one!

840 days after getting together, Dale decided to pop the question. He chose a special spot overlooking the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. With the help of a handful of Dale and Pamela's close friends and a lot of planning, Dale managed to pull off the perfect proposal! Pamela, however, did not make it easy for anyone! She had her suspicions it was happening around that time, pestered their closest friends for information and actually got very close to blowing up the whole surprise!! With a lot of mind games from her flatmate and the award-winning acting pulled by Dale and their friends, they managed to trick Pamela that it was not happening and still bring her to the Opera House. After pulling a wardrobe change, Dale surprised Pamela and turned up at the least expected time. He led her to a not so short stroll to Mrs. Macquarie's Chair where a romantic set-up was awaiting them. Adorned with fairy lights, candles, roses, polaroids, and banner set up by their good friends earlier in the day, Dale asked Pamela the most important question - "Will you marry me?"
