Why is the wedding on a Thursday?

Answer

You may be wondering why we chose a Thursday to say “I do.” While we’d love to say it’s because we’re ahead of the trends, the truth is that weddings are expensive—and Thursdays are much friendlier on the budget. Choosing a weekday also gives those traveling to Florida the perfect excuse to turn the celebration into an extended weekend getaway. We’re so grateful you’re making the trip and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Is the ceremony and reception at the same venue?

Answer

Yes! This venue has an outdoor ceremony site and a indoor reception area. The Ivy House also has a backup plan that can accommodate everyone in case of rain.

How long will the event last?

Answer

We have the venue until 12am, but will likely end the festivities earlier to allow adequate time for cleanup

What is the dress code?

Semi-formal attire requested. Dress to impress, but comfort is key!
