I (Daley) had seen AJ around campus around Spring of 2014, always caught my eye and thought he was a cuite.. FWD a year: I was over at a friend’s house where AJ happened to be living that year and we were first introduced. That night we had gone to a party at 503 Michigan where we started talking and danced the night away (It was an instant knowing that this was something special). Our friendship continued to grow stronger and stronger each T-Bell date. Eventually, after a few years we decided to move things from best friends to dating. We spent a year “distance” as AJ finished nursing school at Ferris and I began my working life in Ann Arbor. After AJ graduated in 2018 he joined me in Ann Arbor working in the OR (operating room) as a nurse. In 2019, we were traveling to watch AJ’s brother, Brandon, play for Michigan State football. AJ had mentioned in October that we were going to go to New York in November to watch Brandon in New Jersey and stay in NYC, as I had never been before (this was nothing out of the normal for us as he/we were trying to get to as many games as we could since it was Brandon’s last year). We (AJ, his mom, his dad, and I) caught a red eye on Saturday November 23rd, 2019, rented a car and drove to the stadium. We watched a portion of the game and traveled to NYC to our hotel for the night. We got cleaned up and headed out on the town to site see. We went Ice Skating at Rockefeller Center, played on the Piano at FAO Schwarz, and headed to Time Square where AJ Asked to take a picture. Next thing I know, AJ is on his knee and asked me to marry him!! Now we need your help to help us celebrate this next chapter! #GettinWittSowards
