We're so lucky to have all of you in our lives, helping to shape us into the people we are today. Your presence means the world to us as we celebrate our love and happiness together, and we hope that you are able to join us in celebrating this big moment!
McArthur Falls is nestled in the adirondacks & about 30 minutes from downtown Saratoga Springs & Lake George, NY. We knew we wanted to get married in the woods, & completely fell in love with the natural beauty that McArthur Falls offers. You’ll hear the peaceful sound of three small waterfalls throughout the venue & truly experience the beauty of peak foliage in the adirondacks. Upon arrival, you’ll see a large open parking lot. From there, it’s just a few steps to where both the ceremony & party is happening! There is a staircase to the ceremony area, but otherwise the terrain is mostly flat. Pathways are gravel and grassy, so we recommend comfortable and/or flat shoes. Being an outdoor fall wedding, we will have heaters & optional blankets, as well as a cozy fire to keep you you warm. Cell service is spotty - please keep this in mind & plan ahead!
Yes, both our ceremony & reception will both be held outdoors. Our reception will be held under a tent on grass. The weather can be unpredictable in upstate NY, so please plan accordingly & dress for the temperatures! We will do everything in our power to make sure you are comfortable & cozy no matter what Mother Nature brings that day!
Dress code is semi-formal, but we want you to be comfortable and just encourage you to have fun & get festive! We suggest longer, warmer, thicker fabrics or layers depending on the temperature. We highly recommend comfortable shoes considering the ceremony and reception will both be on grass.
Please arrive promptly at 3:30pm. The ceremony will begin at 4pm. From there, we will have a cocktail hour followed by dinner & celebrating!
There will be ample parking at the venue space, but we still suggest carpooling! Please have a designated driver if you are planning to drink.
* Ceremony seating update! * Due to the setting of where our ceremony will be held, we be reserving certain seats for immediate family. All other seating is open seating! For the reception, we will have assigned tables, but would love for everyone to be up & mingling!
The party ends at 9:30pm & all guests not staying on the premises must depart by 10pm per the venues regulations.
We have listed hotels in the travel section. The closest hotels are located in either downtown Saratoga Springs or Glens Falls which are both about 30 minutes away. There are Airb&bs in the area which we highly recommend taking a look at! If you have a camper, you are more than welcome to park it in the venue parking lot & stay there for the evening or camp in a tent, please just let us know ahead of time!
Please RSVP by September 1st. If you do not RSVP in time we will assume that you are unable to attend. If you can’t make it, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “not attending” so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!
If you have a guest listed on your invite and you RSVP for both of you, then yes! Otherwise, we would like to keep our wedding as intimate as possible with our closest friends and family.
As much as we love your kiddos, this will be a child-free event. We appreciate you making the arrangements to be with us on our special day.
Yes we will be providing alcoholic beverages. However, we do not want ANYONE drinking and driving. If you plan to drink, please plan ahead by carpooling with a designated driver or arranging transportation ahead of time. The venue is 30 minutes away from downtown Saratoga and getting an Uber may not be an option last minute. We have listed a few local taxi companies below that you can arrange drop off & pickups with if you prefer to not drive. You should arrange your pick up to be at 10pm at the latest.
