¡Nos Casamos!

Diana and Alejandro first saw each other on the soccer field. Their teams were facing-off in a COED season game. Diana's coworker at the time, Anna, played on Ale's team with some of their closest NY/Syracuse friends. While, Diana played with the Publicis crew from her first agency job in NY. Diana had no idea this friendly game against her coworker would lead her to the love she always looked for! That same day, Ale told Diana, "Hey, you're really good ;)" while high-fiving at the end of the game. Then, just one short week later at the beloved Hair of the Dog in the Lower East Side of Manhattan... the week of Diana's 24th birthday, Ale and Diana really hit it off.

As most of us felt, March of 2020 really changed our plans! While Alejandro and Diana had plans to rent a new NYC apartment in September, they instead swapped the usual city-life for a year full of family time, coast-to-coast adventures, and lots of new experiences. Diana and Ale carefully balanced time between Butler, NJ at Casa Navas and Atlanta, GA with the Soloaga's while staying safe and healthy. They weren't sure how long this was going to last, but this was a once in a lifetime situation - and they decided to make the most out of it. After quarantining and living with the soon-to-be in-laws, Diana and Ale were very sure they could do anything together! During the holidays Alejandro flew to Miami, FL to be with Diana and her family for New Years. On December 28, 2020 he pulled off the BEST surprise - with perfect weather - at the Ritz Carlton in Sunny Isles. She fell to her knees to give him a big kiss before she said, yes!!!

We hope to see you all in Riviera Maya, Mexico on April 23, 2022 to celebrate our marriage! We look forward to being able to share this moment with so many people from both sides, and from all parts of our life.
