Jill and Dale met at the University of Michigan in August of 2020. Jill had just finished her summer internship at Vanderbilt in Nashville and Dale had just been shipped home from studying abroad in Rome. They met at the humble 1229 house where they spent the majority of their time senior year with their group of friends. Jill and Dale started dating December 6th of 2020 right before their trips home to meet each other's families. After graduation, Jill moved back to Nashville and Dale conveniently got placed in Jackson, Tennessee for his rotational program with Owen's Corning. The two navigated a "mid-distance" relationship with weekends spent in both Nashville and Jackson with the occasional Sunday meetup in Hurricaine Mills for lunch at Loretta Lynn's Countrytime Ranch. They met lifelong friends in both cities and found a love for Tennessee. A short year later, Dale moved to Toledo, Ohio to fulfill his corporate dreams while Jill continued her job in the PICU at Vanderbilt. There were several flights, calls, and lots of love during their time being long-distance. Jill and Dale moved in together in 2023 back where they met- Ann Arbor, Michigan. They were back in their college town just in time for a National Championship win (Go Blue), and spent the year reconnecting with old friends and loving their new ones in Toledo. In 2024, Dale decided to pursue his MBA at University of Chicago and Jill decided to tear her ACL (oops). They moved to the Windy City and have been settled in Streeterville ever since. Dale is working at Kraft-Heinz and Jill is enjoying her role as a PICU nurse at Lurie Children's Hospital downtown. Dale convinced Jill they were going on a tour of the Big House and proposed in November of 2024 on the 50-yard line. They celebrated their engagement surrounded by friends and family and have been celebrating ever since (most restaurants will give you free champagne for that). Throughout their time together Jill and Dale have traveled around the country, spent a lot of time with family, and built a life together. Every phase of their last 5 years has brought them new friends, new adventures, and new memories to share. They look forward to the future making new memories and sharing their love with you all!
