We met on a game. I was frustrated and my team was slacking. I kicked out the worst player and my friend suggested he be replaced by James. The moment we connected it was obvious we had to be together. From talking all night to gaming all day we eventually met. We knew from first glance it was forever.

Welllllllllllllllllllllllllllll. This one is probably a little my fault. We were joking around one day and he said (I thought as a joke) "you're so funny! I love you. Marry me!" Of course I thought he was joking. We were just goofing off and telling jokes anyway. Turns out he was completely serious and we happened to be engaged. I am very glad I said yes. Joking or not. We picked out the ring together and everything!

James and I met on May 9. By the 25th we were fully together and VERY happy. As we all know, puppy love ends and it does so quickly. Ours never did. That is why I made the best decision of my life and said YES. Then... On may 11th, 2017 I lost one of my closest friends. This day was very hard for me and everyone around. Thankfully James was there to help rebuild the pieces. Because of this, I planned my wedding for his day. I want to make sure he was there even when he really isn't there. He is in our hearts and our mind, and no day will take his memory away. This day we will celebrate his life and who he was, and not mourn. So... In conclusion, the 13th fits perfectly between the two very special days. This is how the day came to be. It also happens to be a Friday the 13th! Extra special!
