Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony and reception will both be held outside. The ceremony will be on the waterfront of Highland Lake and the reception will be held on the patio area in front of the main building under a large tent. There is a small walk uphill from ceremony to reception site.

What is the dress code?
Answer
We ask that everyone dress in their favorite cocktail attire. For men, you are welcome to wear a suit or dress shirt with tie. For women, midi or floor length dresses or dressy separates. We also encourage guests to wear their brightest colors!

Is there parking?

Yes! For those of you coming for the day, there will be onsite parking as directed by the venue.

Will there be a shuttle to nearby lodging?
Answer
There will be no shuttle provided to nearby lodging.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
For those that live in Maine, you know that it could be sunny one minute and stormy the next! In August during the day, it will likely be very warm with cooler temperatures at night.

Is there lodging available onsite?

There is limited lodging available on-site that will be reserved for the bridal party and immediate family.

Are children invited?
Answer
As much as we would love to accommodate your children, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults only event. We encourage you to use this as a fun night out!

Can I bring a plus-one?
Answer
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Can I take pictures?
Answer
Our ceremony will be an "unplugged" ceremony meaning no phones or cameras aside from our photographer. We hope you are fully present in this moment. After the ceremony, please take as many photos and videos as you like!

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
Yes! Beer, wine, seltzers, signature cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages are on us at the outdoor bar. The indoor bar will have additional spirits for purchase.

What time should I arrive?
Answer
The ceremony will start promptly at 4pm. Give yourself time to park and walk to your seat. Please try to be in your seat no later than 3:50pm.
