Question

How do we get to the venue?

Answer

Great question! A catamaran will be picking up all guests and transporting them to the venue. The venue itself is called "Las Caletas Beach Hideaway" and it can ONLY be reached by boat, so do not attempt trying to get there by car or any other way of transportation. It is very important that you arrive to the marina/dock on time, otherwise you will miss the wedding completely and we don't want that! Please do not be at the marina/dock any later than 4:00 pm. The catamaran pickup location dock is: Tell your cab driver you want to go to Maritime Terminal- Main Harbor Master, where cruise ships dock (NOT Marina Vallarta). It is in front of Sam´s and Walmart. Address: Boulevard Francisco Medina Ascencio km 4.5, Zona Hotelera Terminal Marítima, Área Militar de Vallarta, 48333 Puerto Vallarta, Jal., Mexico This correct terminal name is also called “API” (Ah-pee)

Question

Can we leave the venue at anytime prior to the reception being over?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. Once you arrive at the venue you must stay there for the duration of the reception & ceremony. The catamaran will pick up all guests at 10:30 pm and transport them back to the main land where the boat departed from. If it is an emergency, on-site staff at the wedding can take you via speed boat to the Maritime Terminal and there is a hospital across the street.

Question

Where is a good area to book a place to stay?

Answer

We recommend staying in the "Romantic Zone" of Puerto Vallarta, south of the airport. There are all-inclusive resorts on the beach and plenty of air bnb's and VRBO's. The Romantic Zone is a touristy spot that is close to Old Town. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, mini marts, currency exchanges and beach vendors. This is our favorite area to stay in.

Question

Do we need tickets or pay for the catamaran to get to the venue?

Answer

You do not! You are our guests and this has been arranged.

Question

How do we get around?

Answer

If you stay in Old Town Puerto Vallarta or the "Romantic Zone," we have found it very easy to get around just by walking. Cabs are easy to use and most hotels and condos will help call one for you if you plan to spend the day outside of walking distance. Driving around is a little iffy, roads are narrow and there doesn't seem to be rules of the road, so we do recommend going against a car rental unless you're feeling adventurous!

Question

Who do we contact if we have any questions?

Answer

We have plenty of help from our wedding party and family and friends that would love to help with any questions you may have! Question

Answer

The venue is 21+ and we hope you are looking forward to a relaxing night off!

Question

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
