Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

For the Traditional Nigerian Wedding on Friday, May 22nd, the dress code is orange aso-ebi (traditional Nigerian attire) or orange cocktail attire. Guests have the option to have ase-obi attire sewn (please refer to the "Aso-Ebi” email previously sent for details) or to wear formal/cocktail attire. The aso-ebi attire and color scheme is optional. For the American Wedding, on Sunday, May 24th, the dress code is black formal/cocktail attire. Solid black attire is required -- no colored prints or patterns, please. Black pantsuits with white dress shirts are permitted. Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

For the Traditional Nigerian Wedding, there is street parking near Seven Star - Uber/Lyft is highly encouraged. For the American Wedding, there is a large parking lot across the street from Sarabande.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Your RSVP submission will reflect whether you have a plus one included with your invite. For the Traditional Nigerian Wedding on May 22nd, you are welcome to bring a date/plus one (even if it is not noted in your RSVP/invite). For the American Wedding on May 24th, you may bring a date/plus one ONLY if it is noted in your RSVP/invite. Management of plus ones will be enforced for headcount purposes.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Both the Traditional Nigerian Wedding and American Wedding are kid-free events, except for the immediate nieces and nephews of the bride and groom.
