We're getting married!

We lived on the top floor of the same dorm during our freshman year at San Diego State University. We were instantly drawn to each other, and bonded over middle-of-the-night fire alarms and the long trek back to the 11th floor when the elevators were down. We had late-night study sessions and learned to navigate the craziness of college life - together. A short four months after school started, we spent Christmas together in Colorado. By then, Dakota already knew she was in it for the long haul. On our one-year anniversary, Nathan gave Dakota a ring and promised he would someday propose. Eight years later, while they were in Kauai for a backpacking trip, he did. We've built an amazing life together, from getting master's degrees to buying our first home, and raising our crazy, adorable Australian Shepherd, Scout. Our love of adventure has taken us to so many incredible places, creating memories we'll treasure forever. This October, we're so excited to celebrate the next chapter of our adventure with you.
