A chance meeting on just a regular day… I was covering a shift for one of my gals at Meriwether Cafe and Dakota happened to be working construction on a house down the street. He stopped by for lunch and it was undeniably love at first sight. Conversation and laughter came easily but we only exchanged names before his break was up. After a few hours of kicking himself he came back and I was more than happy to hand over my phone number and later my heart. Little did we know at the time that a year later to the day we would be getting married!

Since I was a little girl I dreamed of getting married in my Grandma’s garden under the willow tree, while Dakota envisioned an outdoor elopement. Together we have decided to celebrate our union with an intimate garden ceremony with a few family members as witnesses. We will live together in Columbia, MO and one day dream of living off grid in the surrounding area.
