River Street Deli
Our favorite New York Style Deli, and right next to beautiful Coolidge Park! Everybody knows the owner Bruce with a strong New York accent who is usually taking the orders. If you go there on Friday definitely get the Chopped Italian.
Niedlov's Cafe & Bakery
Cute little coffee shop with yummy pastries, fantastic bread and sandwiches, and a beautiful patio
Lookout Mountain Incline Railway
Fun steep railway with beautiful views of Chattanooga at the top. The top is also a short walk away from Point Park, a civil war monument with equally beautiful views.
The Rosecomb
Cocktail Bar/Restaurant that calls themself "upscale Appalachian" cuisine. Small but wonderful menu. Make a reservation if you go. Recommend sitting in the garden as it is beautiful.
Tremont Tavern
Our favorite burger joint. Always pretty busy but will not take reservations. Burger of the Month is always delicious and has an extensive list of beers on tap.
Old Man Rivers Table & Tavern
Fantastic small neighborhood place in a small house. The owner is extremely personable and acts like everyone is his friend, will even come around and talk to tables. No reservations so if you go during peak dinner hours there can be a wait. For lunch they have a $10 meat and two option that is always delicious.
Rock City Gardens
Cool nature walk through of different rock formations, scenes of some old fairy tales, and a beautiful viewpoint of seven states
Ruby Falls
We have never been ourselves but this is a popular tourist attraction in the area. It is an underground cavern that is lit up with different colored lights.
Oddstory Brewing Co: Central
Our favorite brewery. Great beer, great outdoor patio, and some food to if you would like.
Chattanooga Whiskey Experimental Distillery
Local Whiskey Distillery with tastings and tours.
Tennessee Aquarium
Large fascinating aquarium with both a River section and an Ocean section.
Walnut Street Bridge
Beautiful pedestrian only bridge over the Tennessee River. Downtown Chattanooga and The Ice Cream Show on one side and lovely Coolidge Park with River Street Deli and Frazier Ave on the other side.
Il Primo Northshore
Our favorite Italian Bistro. Definitely eat here over Tony's.
Attack of the Tatsu
Our favorite Ramen place. We think the curry ramen is the best. They also have great highball cocktails.
Coolidge Park
Beautiful park with paved path along the river. Festivals are often held here on the weekend and it is right next to Walnut Street Pedestrian Bridge and River Street Deli as well as Frazier Ave.
The Yellow Deli
Delicious sandwiches in a quirky building that feels like you are thrown back into an old tavern. Beware though it is run by a cult with questionable morals.
Little Venezuela Restaurant
Our go-to for Latin food. Highly recommend their arepas here.
Clumpies Ice Cream Co.
If you are craving ice cream while in Chatt look no further. This is a local place serving up homemade ice cream with seasonal flavors. Take a pint home if you'd like. Also right by Coolidge Park and the Walnut Street walking bridge.
