FAQs

The Wedding Website of Alayna Harris and Dakota Hamilton
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly request cocktail attire in bright or pastel colors to complement our joyful summer celebration. Light, breathable fabrics are encouraged for the warm weather, and comfortable shoes are a great choice for any outdoor moments. We think the pops of color will look beautiful in photos and make our day feel even more vibrant! Please Note: baby blue is reserved for our wedding party so please avoid wearing light blue. White is reserved for the bride only please.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by Saturday, May 1st, 2027 so we can save you a seat (and a slice of cake 🍰). Unfortunately, we won’t be able to make accommodations for anyone who hasn’t RSVP’d by this date, as we’ll be submitting our final headcount shortly after to our venue and caterers. Thank you so much for understanding — we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony begins promptly at 4:00pm. We kindly ask guests to plan to arrive between 3:20–3:30pm to allow enough time for parking and seating. Please note that the ceremony space is outdoors and the building will not be open for entry until after the ceremony. After parking, guests will walk around to the back of the venue to the ceremony area located near the pond. Guests arriving late will be asked to wait until an appropriate moment to be seated so as not to disrupt the ceremony. Thank you!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Yes! Guests are welcome to bring a plus-on. We just ask that their name is included on your RSVP by May 1, 2027 so we can plan accordingly. We can not make accommodations for a plus one after this date. If you’re not sure how to add your guest, feel free to reach out to us directly. We’re happy to help!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We adore your families! While our wedding is kid-friendly, we’re keeping it to a select guest list. If your invitation was addressed to “the family of [your name],” your children are warmly invited. If you’re unsure, please reach out to us — we’ll be happy to clarify!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes there is plenty of parking!

Question

Open bar or cash bar?

Answer

To celebrate, each guest will receive two complimentary drink tickets at the ceremony to use during cocktail hour. A cash bar will be available afterward. Because of our venue’s distance, this felt like the safest choice for our guests. Thank you for understanding and helping us keep everyone we love safe!
