We are getting married!

Sometimes love begins when you least expect it. For us, it all started through work. That’s where I first met Jose Antonio Valdez Jr. At the time, we didn’t realize how much of an impact we would one day have on each other’s lives. We quickly discovered that we had mutual friends, and soon our conversations turned into daily check-ins. We became very close, confiding in each other and building a friendship that felt natural and easy. Back then, we were both in relationships — mine was complicated and toxic, and his was also filled with struggles and heartbreak. Despite this, our friendship remained strong, until life pulled us in different directions and we stopped talking for a few months. During that time, Antonio made the difficult decision to leave his relationship after facing abuse and betrayal, while I was in the process of ending things with my son’s father. Although my relationship had ended, I was still living with him, making it complicated to move forward right away. Through it all, Antonio and I stayed friends. Our connection never disappeared, and slowly, we began to explore what could be between us. Then came the day that changed everything — December 25, 2022. On Christmas Day, Antonio asked me to be his girlfriend. That moment was the beginning of our true love story. Not long after, in January 2023, I moved out of my son’s father’s house and into my own apartment. That new chapter gave us the space to grow as a couple. By the summer, Antonio moved in with me, and from then on, we weren’t just building a home together, but a family. Antonio not only loved me, but he also embraced my son with open arms, treating him as his own. Watching their bond grow has been one of the most beautiful parts of our journey. Together, we supported each other’s dreams, lifted one another through challenges, and celebrated every victory side by side. Our relationship grew stronger with every passing day, and on May 4, 2024, in the beautiful scenery of Puerto Rico, Antonio asked me to marry him. It was one of the most magical moments of our lives — the kind of moment that felt like everything had led us right there. Of course, I said yes. Since then, we’ve continued to grow, not just as individuals, but as partners and as a family. Our story is one of friendship that blossomed into love, of challenges that made us stronger, and of two hearts that chose each other against all odds. Every day with Antonio is a new adventure, and together we are building the kind of love that lasts a lifetime. This is only the beginning of our forever, and we cannot wait to share the next chapter of our love story with all of you. ❤️
