During the second semester of nursing school, a friend of Becca's reached out to Dakota and said, "There is this girl and I think you both would make a great couple". Dakota decided "Okay, well it is worth a shot". They met up at a local Starbucks and talked for much longer than a normal first date would last... four hours to be exact... At that point, they both knew it was meant to be and after a while, they started to officially date! Many months and adventures later, Dakota took Becca on a hike in Arkansas and asked her to marry him on October 31, 2020, and Becca obviously said, "Uuuhh, YES!" Thus starts their beginning of Forever and Always.
