We’re getting married!!

One of his best friends, who just so happened to be her cousin, grew up only a few houses down from him. As children, they always saw each other at family events and holidays from a distance but neither of them paid any mind to each other's presence. Then, one summer after 10 plus years, the two were reunited through mutual friends. The rest is history!

They were visiting a friend's home in which they had visited a million times before on a warm summer night. Many would say that the home is where they first fell for each other. Some of the most important people in their lives had been there for what was thought to be a normal Monday night. In the early hours of July 18th, 2023, Dakota fell to one knee in the living room as Hailey hyperventilated as she was expected to. He explained to her that the home had a lot of meaning in their lives and that he wanted to create another memory there. It was where they first reconnected and had so many great times together and with loving friends and family. He then asked her "Hailey, will you marry me?". Of course, she said "Yes!!".
