Question

Where is the venue? How do I get there?

Answer

The venue is Camp Puh’tok and is located at 17433 Big Falls Rd, Monkton, MD 21111. If you utilize GPS to get to the venue, it will take you to the correct entrance. The entrance will have multiple signs indicating that it is Camp Puh’tok, and we will also post a wedding sign there as well! Once you enter, you will follow a dirt road a short distance and come to three different entrances. Please use the middle entrance, between the two bear statues, as it takes you directly to parking for day-of guests. There will be directional signs to indicate where to go for the ceremony.

I’m staying in the onsite cabins, what do I need to bring?

Answer

If you are staying in onsite cabins, please bring twin sized sheets or a sleeping bag, a pillow, and a towel if you plan to shower at the cabins. Essentials such as hand soap, paper towels and toilet paper will be stocked in the cabins. If you are flying in and cannot bring your bedding/towels or do not have the appropriate items, please contact Caroline before Wednesday, April 22nd to ensure we bring them for you.

When should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony is scheduled for 4pm and we cannot delay it by more than a few minutes due to vendor contract times. Please arrive by 3:30pm on Saturday to park and make your way to the ceremony area.

What are all the no phones signs?

Answer

We know that everyone is excited about the wedding and wants to capture memories, but we have hired a wonderful photographer and videographer to capture moments for us! The officiant will remind all guests that the ceremony is ABSOLUTELY PHONE FREE! We understand that you may want to bring out your phones after the ceremony during cocktail hour, and that is fine as long as you put them away for the first part of the reception. The DJ will make an announcement that the beginning of the reception is PHONE FREE and will make another announcement when phones can come back out (after formalities conclude the party starts!) We promise that we will share the professional photos to all guests that would like them. Please respect this request, we want everyone present for the big moments!

What is the dress code?

Answer

There is no dress code for guests, you can wear whatever you are comfortable in!
