Welcome to our little love story…. Who would’ve known what was just suppose to be a in and out drive to Lilbourn, MO with my good best friend Andrea Hughes would turn out to be the greatest piece of this here love story… Only having to say a few words to my soon to be husband would turn into sooo many years of love! (The Good and the Bad) we talked/built a connection for a year, made it official, First year into our relationship, Alex decided he was ready to put a ring on it! With the help of his homeboys he pulled off a very surprising cute proposal. On our one year anniversary he took me out to eat at Patty Ann’s in Hayti. The building was empty with just me him and the owner/cooks of the restaurant. We ate, chitchat a little and laughed. Until the server came with a cheesecake that said will you marry me? & that man got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! Of course I said yessss that was the easiest yes because he wasn’t really the romantic type but it was literally the thought that counted! I knew then he wasn’t the one for me because babyyyy Alex is very shy/quiet. But I complete him because I’m out spoken and loud a little lol. We got married 3 years later young I was 22 and Xavier was 27, then started adding to our little family.. Jaedyn who is Xavier son but my lovely smart stepson and we had a beautiful baby girl Aria a few years after we got married, then we experienced a sudden death of our 17 month old daughter Aria in 2023. It’s been a challenge ever since but we stayed true to our vows and rode through the storm together. Soo yessss when we said for better or for worse we literally are living proof of it! But overall we kept each other love spirit alive through it all! Now fast forward we’re at out 5 year mark of marriage going on the 6th year in 2026!!! It seem like yesterday 2 best friends were just saying “I Do” without a clue on what to do in marriage but we made it work with the grace of God and a strong circle of family and friends behind us! We hope to keep expressing and show off our little love story until we hit the tomb together!
