Wedding Party

Meet the friends and family who will stand beside us on our special day.

Aisha Ghorashian

Maid of Honor

Aisha and I have been inseparable since our very first days in kindergarten. Having experienced every season of life together, she has truly become the sister I never had. She is loud, incredibly loving, and always authentically herself. I couldn't imagine anyone else standing right by my side.

Kaitlyn Whitacre

Bridesmaid

I’ve known Kaitlyn since elementary school, where we bonded over soccer (mostly because her mom was the coach!). She always leans into my sense of humor and plays along with every joke. Even when college and post-grad life took us to different places, we stayed close through it all. She is a truly sweet soul and the perfect person to help me celebrate.

Sage Reagan

Bridesmaid

Since middle school, Sage and I have been through it all. No matter where life took us or what circles we moved in, we always stayed close. She is one of the most determined people I know, and I love how she balances her strong-headed nature with a playful spirit. I couldn’t imagine the bridal party without her.

Lisbeth Saldana

Bridesmaid

Retail coworkers turned best friends, Liz was the first friend I made as an adult. I’ve always admired how driven and strong-willed she is; she has a way of encouraging me to grow and reach for more. Beyond her ambition, she is so funny and makes every situation better. I’m so grateful to have her in my wedding party.

Andy Blake

Best Man

Andy has been my little buddy since I was 4, but as we have grown together through adversity we have found a bond and deep appreciation as brothers in adulthood. Between playing "hike" (my excuse for a little roughhousing as an older brother), basketball, video games, or teaching him how to do chores we have grown together. Andy has become a caring man with a genuine sense of humor and calm that suits him. I know our father would be proud that he is my best man, because he has always been my best buddy.

Jacob Van Baalen

Groomsman

Jake and I have grown up together being just a few years apart, and some of my formative memories have been with him. From Yu-Gi-Oh cards, to the deadly Kanye West Graduation Album/GTA/Diet Mt. Dew combo, to conversations about politics, history, music, and football Jake and I never have a boring conversation. He is solid, principled, and a great planner, perfect for a groomsman.

Aaron Peterson

Groomsman

Aaron and I met in Walton North hall at UO where I was his RA, and after just a few late night NBA 2K sessions we found an instant connection and mutual appreciation for sports. Aaron and I traveled to Japan in 2024 and traversed the country in the dead summer heat, a true test of friendship. We got Ducks season tickets this year and the opportunity to share a passion closely like that has made us even tighter, I am honored to have him as a friend and groomsmen.

Joe Brouilette

Groomsman

Joe and I met in our teaching program at UO, and he was a bit of a midwest fish out of water, but his passion, kindness, similar family histories, and "screw it let's do it" energy made us fast friends and that year one of the best of my life. Since then we have kept in contact, took a road trip across Missouri for some baseball games, watched the Ducks beat Illinois in Eugene, along with his bachelor party in Louisville, Go Bats! Ask Joe about how is Illinois Fightin' Illini are doing, or just chat him up about his family because he is a walking good time with a pure heart.
