Our mothers were friends from work. Starting in 2011, our families would meet on certain occasions. On such occasions, when we saw each other, our stomachs would flutter with butterflies. Keep in mind we were only 11, but our crush for each other grew. We went years without seeing each other, but nonetheless the feelings were there. In 2018, when we met again, we admitted we had feelings for each other. 6/6/18 was the beginning of our harmonious relationship, and the rest was history!

We were vacationing Old Town San Diego, it was 10/10/20. We planned to go to the San Diego Zoo. The proposal almost did not happen, as the park surprisingly reached max capacity that day. Luckily, our group was lucky enough to be let in. We enjoyed our day out seeing all the animals, but the best part was yet to come. Josh dropped down on one knee in front of the giraffe exhibit, which was the exhibit Daisy was looking forward to all day, and of course, Daisy said "Yes!"
