It all started with a few stolen glances at Twin Peaks. Daisy was out with her friends when Herman kept catching her eye from across the room. After a couple of looks back and forth, Herman finally thought, “Alright… the worst she can say is no,” and decided to shoot his shot. He walked up, introduced himself, and asked her name. With a smile, she said, “Daisy.” What was supposed to be a quick conversation turned into hours of nonstop talking, laughing, and realizing they actually didn’t want the night to end. By the end of it, they already knew they needed a first date. The very next day, they met at Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen for dinner. Between all the jokes, stories, and laughter, they completely lost track of time, so much that the waiter finally had to come over and remind them the restaurant was almost closing. Safe to say… the date was going pretty well. As Herman walked Daisy to her car, they discovered they both drove Ford Explorers. Out of all the cars in the world, they somehow had the exact same one. They laughed, thought it was the funniest coincidence ever, and maybe even took it as a little sign. From that moment on, they became inseparable. One bold move, one dinner date, and one matching SUV later… here they are, getting ready to become Mr. & Mrs. Cruz!
