For guests traveling by air, we recommend flying into Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO), which is the most convenient airport for reaching Truckee. Sacramento International Airport (SMF) is another great option, about a 1.5–2 hour drive away. We recommend renting a car at either airport to make the trip to Truckee and getting around the area as easy as possible.
