What is happening with the new date?

Answer

Our new wedding date is October 2, 2021. Other than the date, everything will be the same. Same venue and times, however we will send out new invitations and response cards closer to the new date. If you have any questions or concerns call Sarah at (515) 771-0346.

I had a room booked at the Marriott for June 27 what happens now?

Answer

Rooms that were reserved at the Marriott Downtown Des Moines as a part of the wedding block will be automatically cancelled. You should have received an email letting you know that your reservation was cancelled. If you booked with a credit card it will not have been charged.

Where Do I park?

Answer

There is a parking garage right next to the hotel where guests can park or valet parking at the hotel.

If your invitation says "And Guest" then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

What will be served for dinner?

Answer

Every entree will start with a fresh garden salad and a choice of peppercorn ranch or honey dijon vinaigrette dressing. The chicken option: herb grilled chicken breast with garlic mashed potatoes, seasoned vegetables, and an herb jus sauce. The chicken and beef option: herb grilled chicken breast, beef filet, garlic mashed potatoes, seasoned vegetables, and an herb jus sauce. The vegetarian option: potato gnocchi with pesto, peperonata, and toasted pine nuts. The kids meal: chicken tenders with french fries.
