About four years ago, Daisy came into my life and changed everything. We had known each other through various graduate school functions, but my sharing with her a song titled “Daisy” put me on her radar. She came with her friends to a housewarming party my roommates threw, and we ended up talking through the night. She captured me then and I knew I would do anything to be with her. After convincing her to try my French toast, she decided I might be worth a shot. The universe was in agreement, and we kept bumping into one another, slowly being pulled into each other’s gravity. Years went by, and we continued growing closer while supporting one another through graduate school and the transitions beyond that. We decided to get engaged and I surprised Daisy on a hike in Vermont (in the snow) February last year. Every day with Daisy is a treasure and I am excited to spend the rest of my days with her.
