I said yes! January 7th, 2021 George and I had planned to meet at a park to take pictures for our anniversary. We planned to meet at 4:45 pm. That day I had to run a few errands & had planned to get him his gift and make him chocolate covered strawberries. By the time I finished doing everything I had to do I noticed I was running short on time. I got home started making the strawberries then started getting ready very quickly. By the time I finished everything George had messaged me asking if I was almost there. (I had everyone waiting outside & it was starting to get cold, of course I didn’t know this until after!) On my way to the park I got off at the wrong exit! That delayed a few minutes. At 5pm. I finally made it to the park then noticed the gate to the park was closed... I called George & asked how I was suppose to go in. Lolita then showed up to block the exit so I can safely enter through there. Once I parked the first thing I saw was lights in a path. The thought of him proposing crossed my mind but I quickly waved it off and thought to myself he said we were going to take pictures that’s why it’s all set up. Then I started walking towards him & started noticing family & friends standing along the pathway & finally realized it was happening. There was letters that spelt out “Marry Me” at the end of the path. I was so surprised, then I started crying (and my hands started shaking). The setting was unbelievably beautiful. That evening felt like a fairy tale! We walked down the path & he read me a letter he wrote then asked the question, of course I said yes!!

She Said Yes! The day before the proposal I asked Daissy if she would like to meet at a park with her brothers so they can play and we can take pictures for our anniversary. I knew she would agree to it because she always tells me we should take pictures ( I’m not much of a picture guy lol). So I told her that we should dress formal for the anniversary pictures & of course she agreed! As she kept agreeing, I became more nervous , as the day finally approached 1/7/21 the rollercoaster of emotions began!..I remember working in the morning with my mind on how the evening was going to play out, the thought of knowing she’s going to be happy, instantly made me tear. I spent the first part of my day containing my emotions which was really hard ! Finally I got off work and rushed home to get ready . I arrived to the park earlier than the time I had told her we would meet to set up the decorations. As the time approached she was not even on her way! I started getting nervous ..her family and my family kept asking me “ is she coming?” “ Is she on her way?” I replied, I hope so ! Lol.. she finally texted me that she was on her way but as she got near she got lost! I started getting nervous and excited at the same time. Then she called me and said the gate was locked! I felt like I literally turned into the beast for a second lol , I sent my sister to find a way to get her in somehow , someway lol! There was no tomorrow for me , I was going to propose to her that day! Finally she was able to enter and met me at the beginning of the path that led to question I should have asked a long time ago! The rollercoaster of emotions led to the happiest day of my life & can’t wait til we both say “I Do!”
