We met at the National Night Out fireworks in Hales Corners just before starting high school. During freshman year we ended up having almost every class together, which gave us plenty of time to get to know each other. We officially started dating in January 2014 right before our winter formal dance. After graduating high school, we both headed off to college. Once college was finished, we moved to Boston together, where we also adopted our Boston Terrier, Bruno. After our time in Boston, we took the opportunity to backpack throughout Europe before moving to South Carolina, where we lived for almost a year. Eventually we made our way back home to Wisconsin. In November 2024, while visiting South Carolina, Brian proposed at Cypress Gardens, the beautiful spot where part of The Notebook was filmed. It was the perfect moment and place to start the next chapter of our story.
