A fantastic winery that specializes in estate-grown Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache and Sauvignon Blanc. For our Wisconsin folks, the owners are UW alumni.
Kunde Family Winery
A beautiful winery with a sprawling estate and tons of unique experience on-property. If they're pouring their Viognier, definitely try a sip!
Lagunitas Brewing Company
This is a Northern California brewery staple. If hops is your thing - these guys brew it up in spades.
HenHouse Brewing Company
Another great local brewery! HenHouse started with one brilliantly good Saison and has since exploded into a whole hoard of other styles. We love 'em and we think you'll love 'em.
Helen Putnam Regional Park
A great hiking option in Petaluma - there are a ton of loops with beautiful views and terrain!
Mount Burdell Preserve
A bit farther out from Petaluma, but offers some longer, high-elevation hiking options.
Tomales Bay State Park
Even farther off the beaten path but completely worth the trek. Tomales Bay Park offers heaps of outstanding hikes with views that help justify why we live in California.
The Floathouse Petaluma
Looking for some recreational fun? Hit the Petaluma River and rent a kayak, paddleboard or Hydrobike.
Foxtail Golf Club
Another great golf course option a bit further up to road in Rohnert Park - only about a 15 minute drive away.
Rooster Run Golf Club
Looking to hit the greens while you're in town? Rooster Run is the closest course to our accommodations and is a great option for our golfers of the group.
Heidrun Meadery
Wine and beer not your thing? Heidrun is an eclectic spot near Point Reyes Station that offers delicious sparkling mead (essentially, fermented honey!) all housed in a quaint little greenhouse space.
