Pearson's
Start your day at Pearson's! We have had a coffee subscription here since it was called Glen Edith Coffee (IYKYK). Delicious speciality espresso drinks, pour-over coffees, and light breakfast fare. Side quest mission: Take a pic of you enjoying breakfast with the Pearson's tiger. Bonus points if you get the iced tiramisu latte (it's sooo good!). HOURS: Sunday-Thursday 7a-4p [kitchen 8:30a-3p] Friday-Saturday 7a-6p [kitchen 8:30a-3p]
Highland Park
Next stop, take a stroll through Highland Park! Our first apartment together is across the street from Highland Park, so we have gone through many strolls through Highland (especially during the COVID lockdown). Fun Fact: This is also where we had our engagement photos taken! This park is also home to the Lamberton Conservatory, where you can enjoy a variety of flora and fauna. Side quest mission: Take a picture of the prettiest blooms (or plants in general) that you see! Bonus points if you get a picture of a tortoise in the conservatory. CONSERVATORY ADMISSION: - Youth (0-5) Free - Adult (19-61) $4.00 - Youth (6-18) / Seniors (62 and up) $2.00. RMSC (Rochester Museum & Science Center)
We love going to museums, and we tend to gravitate towards art and science museums most. Therefore, we will leave this next stop up to you! Option 1: RMSC has 3 floors of interactive science and history themed exhibits. Side quest mission: Take a photo with the mammoth Bonus points if you try the submarine simulator on the first floor. Memorial Art Gallery
Option 2: 5,000 years of art from around the world in Rochester, NY. Han Noodle Bar
Next is dinner, and you have options! Option 1: Han is hands down our go-to comfort food in Roc! Nothing solves a hangover, bad day, or Chinese food craving like a bowl of noodles from Han. Side quest mission: Take a pic of the waving cat Bonus points if you get the Basil Cilantro Noodle Bowl (the only entree Meaghan has ever gotten since we started coming here in 2017 lol). Vern’s
Option 2: Vern's pasta, pizza, and drinks are SO GOOD! But especially the pasta. Side quest mission: Take your most basic boomerang of your drinks/food. Tip: Vern's is a bit small, so it fills up quick, and does not take reservations. So, you may have to wait at the bar for a bit (but hey, more time for that boomerang). HOURS: - Sunday-Thursday 4p-9p - Friday & Saturday 4p-10p
The Playhouse // Swillburger
After dinner, check out one of these late night entertainment options! Option 1: If you're looking for barcade vibes, look no further than Swillburger! Sidequest mission: Get a pic of you crushing some skee-ball (Both Josh and Meaghan's favorite arcade game). Option 2: Roc Cinema is a revamped historic theater that lets you order drinks, food, and snacks right to your seat while you enjoy the movie! Side quest mission: Take a pic showing the movie you are seeing!

Option 3: Bowling, indoor lawn games, fun vibes! The Daily Refresher
Finally, we couldn't end an ideal day in Roc without some Dailey... I mean... Daily Refresher! Awesome cocktails, speak-easy vibe, and the best dill pickle fries ever! No side quest mission on this one, but enjoy a drink, and let us know if you're there-we live just around the corner and would love to meet up for a drink :) NOTE: We recommend going to Daily Refresher during the week or on a Friday night!
