It was September 2017, when Dahlton & Jaedyn were both freshmen at ECU in the same dorm. One day, Jaedyn was doing laundry while Dahlton was running the ping pong table with fellow residents in the lobby. While Jaedyn was waiting on her laundry to finish, she casually watched him win every game and thought he was cute. Naturally, Jaedyn challenges Dahlton to a game! Long story short, he ended up winning this game 11-1. After the game had ended, she gave him her number and said, "Text me later ;)." It was 13 days after, that Dahlton had asked Jaedyn to be his girlfriend outside of Umstead Residence Hall on the sidewalk at sunset. Dahlton and Jaedyn had spent over 5 years together as a couple growing up together and learning more about each other every day. On May 14, 2023, Dahlton and Jaedyn spent an amazing day in Charleston, South Carolina. Touring the best dessert shops and strolling by luxury boutiques enjoying each others company. Later that evening, Dahlton had decided to go take pictures by the famous Pineapple Fountain before our dinner reservations. The two were deciding the best angles for the photos when Dahlton stopped Jaedyn mid-sentence to ask her a very important question. He had proposed to her right beside the fountain amongst the tourists and a Quinceanera! Once Jaedyn had said yes, she turned to find out her younger sister, Camryn and her boyfriend, Jake were taking pictures in the bushes. By all of our surprise, we turn around to find ourselves surrounded by cowboys from the Quinceanera and took a picture with them. It was truly the best way to kick off an engagement!
