What is the appropriate attire?

Answer

It's a casual beach wedding- shorts are fine, sandals are fine! We won't be on sand for the ceremony and reception.

Can we stay outside of the resort?

Answer

Absolutely! Cozumel/Cancun have a lot of great resorts and where you are staying does not hinder your attendance to the wedding.
