Where is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony and the reception will be at the Maverick house in Half Moon Bay. The address is 107 Broadway, Half Moon Bay 94019.

What Time should I arrive?

Answer

The Wedding will begin at 3pm, but you can come as early as 1:30 to see the baraat. If you come early, you can participate in the dancing and partying that will be in parking lot. In general, we recommend you come a little early because traffic can get heavy on the weekend.

Do I have to mail back my RSVP or can I RSVP online?

Answer

Either way is fine. We have made it so you can RSVP online. There is a link at the top right of the webpage!

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

The ceremony will be a hybrid Indian/American so formal Indian clothing and formal Western clothing is acceptable. Keep in mind that fall in Half Moon Bay is warm in the afternoon, and will get cool at night. We recommend layers.

Is there parking available near the ceremony and reception venues?

Answer

Yes! There is a parking lot at the venue, and free parking just outside the venue as well.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Yes! Kids are welcome! There is a kids menu at our venue. Let us know if you're kids will be joining us.

Will the ceremony be taking place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony is outdoors on grass. The weather in Half Moon Bay in October will be around 74 degrees in the afternoon so dress accordingly, and there is a possibility that the wind could pick up in the afternoon. The reception is indoors, but there is a patio with heaters.

Can I take pictures and/or post photos of your wedding on social media?

Feel free to take photos and post them! Send us your photos after the wedding as well!

Where should I stay while I am in town?

Answer

Check out the Hotels page to see some of the places we think are nice! Keep in mind that we added hotels that are close to the venue, but also we have a couple close to SFO and our house because of requests. Make sure the hotel you're looking at suits your needs.

Are there any local places you’d recommend I visit while I’m in town?

Answer

Absolutely! If you're in town for a while, check out our Things To Do page. There is a lot of outdoor recreation and places to eat and drink. The venue is about 40 minutes from San Francisco, and 35 minutes from San Jose! Feel free to ask us about other recommendations.
