As corny as it is, the best gift my parents could give me was a sister. It blessed me with a lifelong friend, sandbox partner, closet swapper, and an endless supporter. Brianna has never failed to support me and would be the first to go to bat for me (literally). I'm so lucky to have her a part of our day - she's known Jared since the beginning days of our relationship and has wholeheartedly welcomed him as a brother since.

Linz, also known as Linzabella to my family, is my longest friend and like a cousin to me. She's seen it all, including my awkward days where I cut my hair and had sideburns. From gymnastic practice, middle school parties, and family vacations, Linz has always remained a constant in my life. No matter how little we see each other or talk, we always seem to pick up right where we left off.
Sarah Senft

Season 12, episode 1: Nicole's Wedding. Sarah and I once joked about having our own tv show called "Codorus Lake", a show like Laguna Beach that chronicled our lives. These are the types of things we'd think about during our many bus rides after field hockey games in high school ( we had a lot of time on our hands). I'm lucky to have Sarah apart of every major and little episode in my life since middle school and for her to stand by my side in one of my biggest chapters.

Our friendship started with a Facebook message along the lines of, "how short are you?" I was ecstatic to find out my random Dayton roomie was the same height as me (okay, she's maybe 1.5 inches taller). It made for an instant friendship freshmen year that evolved into four years of living together and a shared closet. Alexa has always accepted my quirks and made me feel like the funniest person in the world because she laughs at all my jokes.
Bethanie "BJ" Heilbronn

BJ and I met during our freshmen year of college and bonded over our neurotic study habits and love for political science. Our friendship grew even stronger when we joined the same fraternity and were roomies in Argentina for study abroad (Buenos Aires, whadddupp!!?). No matter how far we live from each other (CA --> PA), we always stay in touch and have trouble getting off the phone even after an hour (or two).
Kelly Vohden

It was the beginning of freshmen year and I could hear a loud, bubbly girl talking (more like shouting) from down the hall. Kelly was from "the other side of Marycrest" and befriended me right away by taking me to Sigma Nu dance parties. Kelly has always been one of my most positive and encouraging friends as well as my go-to expert on anti-aging and skin care regiments.
Kata Lucas

I quickly realized Kata had a work hard, play hard mentality. She became an instant friend and would always have our block rocker blasting and drinks flowing. Despite us spending many late nights fretting over term papers, Kata always calmed me down and reminded me to have fun every once in awhile. She probably dances with her arms in the air just as much as I do - just wait and see on June 16.
Dr. Justin Nixon
Best Man
Jared claims that his relationship with Justin started with some good ol' brotherly hate and innocent feuding as young kids. Once the two could bond over some hunting and brews, the friendship was quick to evolve and the pair were not just close brothers but best friends. Justin moved into our house for some time and together we all shared a love for Mexican food, backyard bonfires, and spontaneous trips to Marco Island.
Zach Nixon

Zach is #5 of the Nixon Six and Jared's "little bro." Zach used to always get mad at us when we would try to intrude in his personal life but we know he secretly enjoyed it. Don't let his fire fighting ways fool you, we both say that Zach is most likely to cry at the wedding. He has one of the most sincere hearts and cares deeply for his big bro.
Mark Slusser
Groomsman
Mark once turned to Nicole at the beach and said, "it's the most beautiful thing to see your best friend (Jared) and friend since kindergarten (Nicole), fall in love." Yes, Mark says things like this and they are representative of his heartfelt and sentimental nature. Mark has been a part of both of our lives for years and has known our relationship since the beginning days.
Jeff Leese

Jeff is a man of few words but when he speaks, it's often witty and memorable. Jared claims that Jeff introduced Jared to his partying ways. The two lived together right after college and grew even closer over hunting trips, nights by the bonfire, their love of the outdoors, and the idiosyncrasies of their home aka "the cabin".
Herman Ramsel
Groomsman
Herman is Jared's cousin and someone he's always looked up to since he was a kid. Herman and Jared share an interesting sense of humor and as Jared says, "sausage fingers." Yes, they both have short stubby hands and they bond over this weird fact. Aside from that, Herman is someone we have both grown close to as well as his wife, Kim and two young boys.
Max Neiderer

If you need to borrow a tool, get your pool checked, or buy a goat, Max is your man. Max is the type of guy to take the shirt of his back to help you out and one of the handiest people we know. He works for his family pool business and is allergic to chlorine. Yes, there are some things in life we may never understand but at least we know we'll always have a friend in Max.
Colby Wentz
Groomsman
Colby is one of Jared's friends who is down to do whatever, whenever. Jared once convinced Colby to drive eight hours to Ohio - mind you, it was Friday at 4pm before they even came up with the idea for the weekend. The two returned home on Sunday with a lot of memories and a $300 speeding ticket and court hearing. Jared's craziest and most entertaining memories often involve Colbs. We like to argue that Colby is very much like a cat with nine lives.
