We went to downtown Knoxville to belatedly celebrate my birthday. After our date, Stian surprised me by having decorated my dad's office in the Old City for our proposal.

Stian filled the proposal space with our old letters, notes, mementos, and favorite things.

Like any good law student, I had to give my boyfriend a pocket Constitution.

Stian custom-designed my ring using stones from one of his mother's rings. It means so much to me that he made this ring specifically for me with stones that had meaning to his family.

For my sixteenth birthday, we went ice skating in market square. Stian claims he caught me when I fell ice skating. I claim he’s the one who threw us off balance in the first place.
