The attire for Saturday’s wedding is Funky Formal.

The theme comes from our favorite places being Brooklyn, New Orleans, and Italy - all places where people showcase their personal style in how they dress. Since everyone invited is a truly special individual in our life we hope you’ll entertain us with a demonstration of your individuality.

We ask guests to dress formal, but with a splash of personal funk - how much funk? Take it as subtle or as flashy as you’re willing to go. A dash of sprezzatura, a full on floral jumpsuit, tinted sunglasses... Just funk it up!

The only rule is you shouldn’t feel like you’re wearing a costume. 

We want you to look good, but more importantly feel good, so if you are intimidated by this dress code you may just stick to a formal attire. But maybe you could do us a favor and get a funky pocket square or find some extra jewelry for us? We look forward to seeing what makes you funky.
