Travel Safety Tips

1. Don’t walk alone after dark. Ask the hotel to order a taxi for you or contact the Naik family if you need anything. 2. Avoid wearing flashy jewelry or carrying large amounts of cash. Rooms are equipped with a safe. Keep your valuables on your person or in your purse. Bring as little as possible with you. Tip: Put valuable jewelry in a disguised container (candy tin or spectacle case). Do not leave valuables in plain sight in your rooms. 3. Make copies of your ID’s, visas and Passports and keep them in your luggage and purse. Keep your originals in a secure location. 4. When driving in cars, keep your doors locked and windows rolled up at all times. Be aware of your surroundings and people around you. 5. Avoid talking to strangers and providing them with too much information on your travel plans, timing etc. 7. Avoid visiting informal settlement areas.
