We actually met on Tinder! Our first date was a picnic at the Lafayette Reservoir. Page brought homemade cookies and I brought sandwiches. We sat and talked until it started to get dark. Then, we drove to get ice cream and sat outside on a bench, talking late into the night.

On the anniversary of when we made it official, Page came home from work that morning unexpectedly and surprised me, saying that she had a whole day planned to celebrate our anniversary. We went back to Lafayette Reservoir for what I thought was just a hike. Three miles deep into the hike, we stopped at the top of a hill and sat on the bench “to rest.” Page proposed! We hiked the rest of the trail back in pure bliss. Later that night, we went out for dinner. Page surprised me again, by having our family meet us at the restaurant to celebrate. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you at the wedding!
