What does the dress code, "garden party semi-formal" mean?

Answer

Polished, comfortable attire in lighter, breathable fabrics. Floral prints are encouraged! The wedding will be outside in a mostly grass area, so wear practical shoes. We want you to look nice, but still be comfortable for a summer day. Some ideas for women include midi or maxi dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy separates. For men, lightweight suits or dress shirts with chinos and a blazer.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

We will start promptly at 4:30pm. Please arrive between 15-25 minutes early to settle in and find a seat!

Where should I sit?

Answer

There will be no bride or groom's side, sit wherever there is room. Front row seats will be reserved for immediately family.

How long will the ceremony be and what happens after?

Answer

Our ceremony will be approximately 15-20 minutes long. Following the ceremony, the wedding party and immediate family will break away for photos while you enjoy cocktail hour and get settled into your seats for dinner.

Will there be assigned seats at dinner?

Answer

Two tables will be designated for the wedding party and immediate family. Otherwise, all other seating will be open. Sit where and with who you like!

Answer

Dinner will begin at 6pm! There will be a BBQ buffet, you can help yourself once the announcement is made.
