Since we moved to California weโve always talked about going hiking as a family and bringing the kids but something always held us back. Finally, one day.. we just did it!
Year 2008 - So, our love story started on Friendster (yes, you read that right!), a social media platform back in the day. We were both residing in California, with about a 2-hour drive between us. Didnโt get to meet in person until almost a year of talking on the phoneโbut by then, we were already hooked! :)
Back in August 2010, a month before he was headed to basic training for the U.S. Army, we decided to get married civilly at the courthouse in Norwalk, California!
Archie wanted to take me with him and didnโt want to live in the barracks once he finished basic training (as you know, if you're single you have no choice but to live in the barracks) so we made it happen and got married!
Year 2010 - Surrounded by the ones whoโve supported us every step of the way. So grateful for these amazing people whoโve been with us through it all and witnessed the beginning of our forever. ๐
As he left for basic training, I felt a mix of anxiety, pride, and sadness, but above all, I was so happy for him. It was a tough goodbye, but I knew he was off to do something amazing. Three months went by in the blink of an eye and this was the day heโs officially a soldier! So proud of everything heโs achieved!
Three months apart while he was in basic training felt like an eternity, but when we finally reunited, it was a moment weโll never forget. This is the day I officially called myself a military wife. Proud, grateful and ready for a new chapter together. โค๏ธ
This was his graduation day from AIT! It was another 3 months of training. We were separated for a total of six long months while he went through basic and (AIT) advanced individual training but finally, the day came when we were reunited and it made every moment apart worth it. Then our journey began - our first set of military orders had us heading to Washington for our very first duty station.
Year 2012 - In Washington, welcoming our first baby, Courtney! Our world changed forever when our first child was born!
From 2013-2014 - Archie was deployed to Afghanistan. The longest 10 months of my life! He faced the weight of deployment, nearly gave it all upโฆ but chose faith, strength and purpose instead.
On the day of homecoming, I could still remember how we waited through the wee hours to be reunited again. The long wait, the quiet hours, and the sweet moment of reunion. So happy to him back. ๐"
Second duty station: Hawaii๐ด๐ฃ New orders, new baby, new chapter. In 2015, our family doubled in love with the arrival of our second baby, our one and only son.. CODY! Our hearts have never been fuller. ๐
Year 2016 - Orders brought us home to California.. and gave us another little piece of heaven. Say hello to our sweetest Cassey! Our family is richer in love than ever before! ๐ถ
Year 2017 - Raising three little ones all at once! A 5-year-old, 2-year-old, and 1-year-old. Raising them all together means endless energy, lots of messes, and so much love. We were surviving, thriving, and loving every minute of it!
From the giggles and first steps to young, talented, and beautiful children.. a gymnast, a basketball player, and a volleyball rookie! Itโs a blessing to watch them flourish.
They are the heartbeat of our home! The reason we breathe, the reason we keep going. Our purpose. ๐
Every now and then, we like to take a little time off. In the midst of parenthood, we know that sometimes you need a little getaway to reconnect and recharge. We love to go on little city dates when life gives us a break.
In the heart of NYC where we've lived for 3 years through military orders. In our empire state of mind with big dreams and unforgettable memories. ๐๏ธ๐ซ
๐At St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York City. In our very busy world, Archie and I always try to make time and honor our obligation to attend mass every Sunday as much as possible. It isnโt just about faith. It is what keeps us grounded, connected, and stronger as a couple. We want our kids to grow up with faith, so we lead by example.
Year 2021 - Our most favorite vacation to date! Philippines - back in our homeland. The Philippines will always have a special place in our hearts. It's where we were both born and raised after all! Still by far our favorite vacation destination. If we could only go home every year, we would but life doesn't always make it easy. This beautiful paradise in Coron, Philippines is like no other.. truly one of the most stunning places on Earth!
Sometimes the best memories are made when it's just the two of us!

One of our unforgettable family vacations was when we had our 7-day adventure in Lake George, New York. It was a perfect blend of family time and unforgettable moments. We took the kids onceโฆ now theyโre hooked. Every year they ask to go for a summer getaway! I'm glad there's Lake Tahoe in California! :)
Nothing beats the thrill of live sports! Watching live sports together is also one of our favorite ways to bond as a couple. New York days!
A chance to watch baseball? Yes weโre there in a heartbeat! โพ๐ Archie usually comes home with a ticket to Angel game and everytime he asks me if I want to watch.. who would say no?! :)
From morning runs to gym sessions and biking trails, we keep each other moving and motivated! Thankful to have a fitness partner for life! ๐โโ๏ธ๐ดโโ๏ธ๐

Every military ball is a reminder of how proud I am of him and how lucky I am to share these moments. Archie is the true definition of hard work and dedication. He provides so much more than just what we need - he gives us everything. Thank you for all you do my love!๐๐๏ธ

His best way in teaching us about military? He loves to take us to West Point Academy and talk about the history. It is Archie's dream to see our son Cody walk the halls of this prestigious school! Weโre dreaming big for his future, one step at a time.
Our anniversary dinners are always my favorite part of the year - just us, making memories and celebrating the love weโve built.
