What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

When is the RSVP deadline? Can I RSVP online?

Answer

The deadline to RSVP is August 8, 2022. We actually prefer that you RSVP online. Please see our RSVP page to let us know if you will be coming.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place in the same location. The Patterson Mansion, 15 Dupont Circle, Washington DC, 20036

Is there parking nearby?

Answer

If you are staying at the host hotel (AC Hotel) there is valet parking at the hotel for $25/day. There is also a self park garage directly across the street. On the day of the wedding parking is available at the Patterson Mansion. For your convenience there is a parking garage half a block away from the venue. The rate is $20 for the day and they take Visa and Mastercard. The garage is located at: 11 Dupont Circle, WDC 20036

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal attire is encouraged. For men a tuxedo is welcomed but not required and for women a full length gown or dress.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place indoors.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will take pictures nearby for about an hour. Guests can head straight to the ballroom for cocktails.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

In September the weather in DC is typically in the mid 70's to low 80's

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes, please see our "Travel" page for information about making hotel accommodations

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

Answer

No, but the hotel is 0.5 miles away from the wedding venue and less than a 5 minute ride via taxi or Uber.

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, there is an elevator that will take you up to the ceremony/reception area. Please see the front desk for assistance.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Yes, our wedding reception will be "cocktail style". We will have an open bar, cold and hot hors d'oeuvres and assorted desserts.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free options?

Answer

Yes, there will be both gluten free and plant based hors d'oeuvres served.

Answer
