To get get to the Villa Mocajo, we recommend that you fly into Pisa, Florence or Rome. Note that in 2026, US Citizens will need a visa to travel to Italy and other EU countries. The Pisa Airport is the nearest to the Villa and is about an hour's drive. The Florence Airport is about 1 ½ - 2 hour's drive. The Rome Airport is 3 ½-4 hour's drive (nothing to a Texan, but farther away than the others). We strongly recommend that you rent a car and don't drive in any of the cities (if you can avoid it). We suggest that you get an international driver's license before you arrive in Italy as many of the rental car companies require them. You can enter "Tenuta Mocajo" in your GPS. That will get you to the Villa Gate, where you will enter the code and follow the signs to Villa Mocajo.

Accomodations

Please RSVP as soon as possible, so that we may assign accomodations. Many will be staying in the Villa Mocajo, (Mocajo.it) but we have also reserved 2 houses nearby, Podere Calcheto (https://emmavilla.com/en/Tuscany/podere-calcheto-14) and Scuola di Mocajo (https://t.vrbo.io/PxSO6jJ5NYb). You should come to Villa Mocajo when you arrive and we will let you know what room/house you'll be staying in! We will organize breakfast, lunch and dinner starting with dinner on the 16th and concluding with our wedding dinner on the 18th. All meals will be at the Villa Mocajo, but we will have coffee and fruit in the kitchens of Podere Calcheto and Scuola di Mocajo. We will allocate room and food costs per person and ask you to reimburse us for those expenses. We should be able to let you know the amount to be reimbursed before you depart for Italy.
